Small Cluster of Seizures Followed

Because of his lack of sleep the night before, yes, Weslee had small pockets or clusters of seizures. I can only say I am thankful none were tonic-clonic (grand mal) or the other bigger ones.

He was still tired when he got up, but couldn't nap. I don't MAKE him nap, but having constant misfiring in the brain can drain a person.

In other news, my increased rent just took effect. I had to weigh the extra $150 per month with the cost of moving. Staying won out. That leaves us only $450 per month for other expenses, like meds, co-pays, food, utilities, etc. I guess I can forget about necessary car repairs. Or insurance.

One more quick thing: I will be so relieved when I can finally get a resolution for one of my bleeding issues. Hope today's appointment is a step forward for that.

Well, it sounds like Weslee is up and cranky, so have a great day.

Alt to Ticked Off

I am upset. Ticked off. Frustrated.  At my wit's end.

Why?

Apt lease up for renewal. I usually get it in January to give me time to adjust to the increased rent.  This time, I had to remind them last week. Yes, written request. The notification was supposedly left on my door Monday. Nope. Snow and wind blamed for it missing.

I let them know. Hand delivered on Tues. Here is where the ticked off came in: my rent went up another $150.  What? I can't afford it now. Where the hell am I gonna find another $150 each month?

Med prices / copays increased too. Food. Gas.  Heat. Then there is my plethora of (kinda new) health problems, vehicle bits and prepping for about 6-12 months of surgeries for W.

Weslee and I can't afford to stay but certainly can't afford to move.

When I get this upset, I find I have to 'create'. It helps me think in the back of my mind.  I made this melted snowman for a 3x3 hand-bound notebook. I have a bit more work to do on it but it is close.

But it didn't help. Still ticked off and frustrated.
