Gonna jump on the bandwagon and comment about the soaring cost of eggs. .. .. WHAT THE EVER FLIPPIN' HELL!
Last week, I got 12 large eggs for about $6.00 and today ... seriously, nearly $9.00 for that same dozen. Bird flu my butt. I smell 'price gouging'. Swindling. Over-charging. Perhaps... anticipation of tarriffs on feed?
I do have some powdered eggs so maybe I will experiment and make a bacon and cheddar quiche next week.
Once Weslee has all of these upcoming brain surgeries, thinking we will get back into raising quail for meat and eggs. I have the experience and enjoy the sounds they make. Wish I have the space for a few chickens.
