MY 2005 CARAVAN's BRAKES
I went back to the auto repair place today, and asked if they still quoted $3,000 to repair my brakes. They took a look at them this morning and said it would be closer to 2000. Much better but still steep.
I left my car with them (they thankfully gave me a ride home). While they fixed my brakes, I went online where I had listed some items for sale and was able to transfer enough funds to cover my brake bill.
The tires, oil change and falling headliner can all wait.
At least now, Weslee and I can get to Ohio safely.
Next up: hotel, hot spot, meals and gas. Later: copays and deductibles.
