One of my sisters lives in France, near (or in??) Paris. We had a nice conversation today about family and health. Towards the end, I had a question (all of the following dialogue is paraphrased because my memory isn't very functional these days.):
"Do you hear much about USA politics and the controversies going on, like the Signal leak?"
"Seriously?" (Remember ...I'm paraphrasing!). "It's on the TV, radio and everywhere online. EVERYWHERE!" She sounded frustrated.
"I guess that makes sense, what with certain people being absolute morons and unable to consider real life consequences."
"What that idiot has done is made just about every other country think about banding together agsinst US, because he/USA is screwing up the global economy."
...
Why am I not surprised.
