CT Scan for Mom

I've put my health on hold while trying to get Weslee's stabilized but can't keep doing that. No one else can take care of my kid, so I gotta stick around a little longer, right?

I won't give details but will say one of my health concerns is bleeding where I shouldn't be.

Today I went in for a CT scan, with contrast. Notoriously a hard stick (trouble getting a vein), and unable to stick my right side (breast cancer, 2016), I am mentally prepared for several tries. Sometimes I have so many holes that I look like a drug user, or bruises that make me look abused. Or a Pollack painting! Today... after 2 people and 5 or 6 tries, they gave up. Did the scan without contrast, hoping it would suffice.

At 61 (yep, old lady!), my skin is getting thinner, my brown hair is greyer, and my spine continues to disentegrate, preventing anything resembling good posture. I want the bleeding OUT of the equation.

Hoping today's scan will at least rule out a few possibilities.

Take care.
